As eLearning becomes a more prevalent delivery method for business training, Learning Management Systems (LMS) are becoming more important to businesses as platforms for course registration, content storage, delivery, assessments, and reporting completion of eLearning courses. According to a 2010 survey by Learning Circuits, American Society for Training and Developmentā€™s (ASTD) online magazine, 90 percent of respondents are using LMSs in their organization. This proves that organizations focused on learning and performance improvement use Learning Management Systems as a main component of their training strategy.
